GM lion cushion-front/back, 40X60, beige/brown
1/6

Description:

The GM Lion cushion is inspired by Gerhard Munthe’s Kongesagaer (ca. 1899), where myth and nature intertwine. The stylised lion and palm tree motif, woven in contrasting tones of beige and deep brown chenille, captures the expressive linework of Munthe’s original illustration.

The back of the cushion features the reverse side of the fabric, revealing a darker interpretation of the same motif. Woven in heavy chenille, the design transforms Munthe’s artistry into a bold, textural statement for the modern home.

Fabric description:

Chenille is a soft, plush fabric known for its velvety texture and subtle shimmer. The word chenille comes from the French word for caterpillar, which describes the fabric’s fuzzy surface.
